educogym® sponsors Miss Universe Ireland 2009

missuniverseIrish health and fitness group educogym® is delighted to be the main sponsor of the prestigious Miss Universe Ireland competition 2009.  Jamie Myerscough, spokesperson for educogym® and owner of the new franchise operation at Dundrum Town Centre comments:  ‘educogym® is delighted to be associated with the Miss Universe Ireland 2009 pageant and its organiser Andrea Roche.  It is obvious that the contestants taking part in Miss Universe Ireland work hard to maintain a good physique and health and fitness should be part of everybody’s lives’.

Former Miss World, Rosanna Davison is set to take on her biggest live hosting gig to date as she takes to the helm of the Miss Universe Ireland 2009 pageant.  Rosanna was joined at the launch which took place in Citywest Hotel by last year’s winner Lynn Kelly, event organiser Andrea Roche, event sponsor Jamie Myerscough and a selection of the contestants hoping to clinch the title this year.

The red carpet event, which will also take place in Citywest Hotel on 26th June, will be hosted by both Rosanna and TV3’s Alan Hughes with stylist Lisa Fitzpatrick lending her glamorous touch also.  A showcase of 21 finalists, the event is proudly supported by educogym* as primary sponsors and Debenhams.

The Miss Universe Ireland franchise is owned and run by top Irish model and fashion stylist Andrea Roche.  Said Andrea, “The interest has been beyond expectation once again proving that beauty and style has a place no matter what the climate.  Judging by the demand to compete so far, this year’s event will be even more hotly contested than last year.  I am thrilled that we have the support of two very fitting sponsors this year. Educogym are pioneers of the health & fitness industry, while Debenhams are already front-runners in style, fashion and quality in Ireland”.

The winner of Miss Universe Ireland will fly to the Bahamas in July to represent in Donald Trump’s 58th Annual Miss Universe ceremony.
